I only share it with you here to gain a little better understanding of where I was both emotionally and spriritually at that time in my journey.

Hi ladies,

I know this is a longer letter than most are on this site, but if you are really serious about finding a permanent lifelong partner, then the time invested would be worth it. Those just looking for stars and glitter will not make it through this profile and they are not who I am looking for.

I am a Christian man who truly believes in and tries to love God. I run to the word of God when I need direction or guidance. It is more important to me to do what is right in His eyes than to do what might be easier or more convenient.

I have been alive on this earth now for 50 years. I have experienced many places and things. I have four kids. I have made many mistakes and have learned from all of them and they shape who I am today. I do not place much value in possessions or things but I do place a lot of value on relationships. Some who have known me in the past might disagree and they would be right if I were still that person. But I am not. We are best when we learn from our experiences, trials and failures we have walked through in life. It is all about learning, growing, loving and becoming more like Jesus Christ.

I am not a perfect man (Christian). I do have my strengths and weaknesses. I long for a relationship where my strengths are your weakness and your strengths are my weaknesses. What is gained by this you ask? Well, think about it. If you are really someone who can recognize this, not only about the other but also about yourself, there is so much to be gained. You have someone who is willing to love you in spite of your weaknesses and willing to the end to help you grow and become stronger in those areas of weakness.

For example, I am immediately disregarded when other Christian females find out from my profile that I struggle with smoking as if they are a perfect Christian and have no failures or struggles within themselves. This does not seem fair to me. Of course there is nothing wrong with that either. I mean wanting someone who does not smoke. I do not judge here.

On the lighter side, I do enjoy the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. I am not a person that has to always be running or doing things either. I enjoy very much quite evenings with the one I love, being a little romantic, candlelight, cuddling and such things.

People say that I am a very intelligent man and quite handy with tools around the house and yard.

I ask now, are you looking for a man that will always love you, never leave you (no matter what) for all of your strengths and most importantly for all of your weaknesses?

Physical attraction of course is important as well. I think we all can agree on that. There does need to be some chemistry too. I think that is just how we are made.

I am not looking for a beauty queen, Barbie doll or miss America. Physically what attracts me most of all is your smile. The perfect figure for me would probably be what this site calls average, little extra padding or curvy.

I am somewhat of a broken man when it comes to relationships. But please know that I would not be on this site if I had not already resolved it within myself that the past is past and it is the future which lies ahead. Please feel free to ask anything you like.
